Which grade are you in?
Welcome to the Innovation Lab and the Society of Innovative Students

Greetings, I am Leonardo Da Vinci and I am welcoming you to the Society Of Innovative Students or S.I.S. You have been one of the lucky few that have been chosen for this great honor so allow me to tell you a little about myself, how I came up with this society and what it is.
As a young boy in my time, my childhood was incredibly tough. My family was very poor and the little that I did receive for food and clothes was a blessing but in the back of my mind, I knew this was something I did not want to struggle with the rest of my life. I wanted to become something more and I wanted to make the world better too. I was a very creative child. I had a vision in my mind of what I wanted to become and what I wanted to create. As time grew on, I became a well known inventor, painter, sculpture, artist, mathematician, and so much more. For instance, I invented the parachute which is widely used today. I want to encourage kids and people of all ages to use the knowledge and skills they have to create something that will benefit human kind. And I want you, to join us who make this world a better place. It is our duty to bring life to ideas and make something of ourselves.
The Society Of Innovative Students was created because I knew there are kids just like me, that wanted to invent and to create for the world. S.I.S. gives students a chance to innovate anything they want using the power of their minds. This society will ensure four basic principles of life to further become a better innovator. The first principle we will be discussing is Learning. Just like with learning how to ride a bike, you must learn the steps which are balance and control.
That goes with anything in life. You must learn and study the thing it is you want to achieve. There are many professionals in certain areas that we want to learn, so reach out to people and ask for tips and advice on how to master whatever it is you want to create. Learning is a powerful tool which will help us expand our knowledge and do the best to our ability. You can never learn too much of anything. Be open to learning more and more, so you can help others as well.
Another basic principle is create. If there is an idea you have in your mind, it is very important to want it enough to where you will make it come to life. The process to create something takes incredible time and patience but if you have a vision of what it is you want, slowly the steps will become clear. Do not have doubts about what it is because anything you put your mind and knowledge into, It will work and with your hard work and dedication to understanding everything, will pay off. But in order to create, you must know, sometimes your original idea may lead to a different creation and that is all a part of the process. The mind wanders to many levels and if you find yourself beginning to create something different, it surely is meant to be. Go with the flow and your creation will come to life.
The next principle we have is to share. Yes, sharing is incredibly important along with learning. Sharing and learning helps you expand in many ways. If you share your work with someone, you will receive opinions that will help your creation grow and become better. There is always room for you to gain inspiration from people and things. Once you share your work, those around you can give you positive opinions that will then increase your motivation to continue your work. Lots of encouragement goes a long way. When you share your ideas, you will gain much more knowledge from others. Outside opinions can help but as long as you know what you are wanting to create and not let anyone bring you down in your process.
The last principle we need to know is to repeat. Repeating these principles I shared with you, will do nothing more than to help you achieve anything you want. You must get into a pattern of repeating these main steps so you can further your growth as a creator.

All innovators use these principles to gain an understanding of how important it is to use these methods when achieving greatness. Once we repeat these steps, it will become a way of life for us. The human mind will begin to create patterns of the things we do over and over every day. That’s why it is important to learn, create, share, and repeat.
Great innovators of today like Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, Katherine Johnson, and Nikola Tesla, all had a vision to create and were joined here, at the Society Of Innovative Students when they were only 10 years old. They had a vision to become one of the greatest and when they applied these four principles, they became the greatest innovators in history that will never be forgotten. So, students of S.I.S, we encourage you, inspire you, motivate you, to become the best of the best. Your Achievement and failures will all be celebrated because with failures, you are one step closer to greatness.
We look forward to teaching and guiding you to all that we have to offer. You will be supported with everything and anything that you put your mind to and we always want you to know that it’s up to you to inspire future generations by achieving your ultimate goals by learning, creating, sharing and repeating throughout your life. With one person at a time, we can truly make a difference and make the world a better, more creative, inspiring, place.
